Security & Safety

• All staff undergo all statutory checks and we obtain satisfactory references
• New staff are supervised until they demonstrate competence in looking after our children
• A comprehensive range of policies and procedures ensure that the children are safe and secure at all times. Policies include:- Drop Off and Pick Up, Medication, Unwell Children, Outdoor Play, Allergies, Outings, a variety of Health and Safety Policies (including Risk Assessments), Equipment and Safe Practices…..

In addition to our nursery Policies and Procedures, our nursery has the following facilities:-

• Recordable 24 hour C.C.T.V. linked to the main office
• Electronic door entry system (which must be opened by a member of staff)
• No radiators or pipes (Gas central heating in the ceilings – individually controlled by each room/area)
• Enclosed play area/car park with 7ft lockable gates
• Safety flooring in wet/messy areas
