We follow the "Birth to Three Matters" government framework for child development through planned activities and sensory experiences. The development of each baby is carefully recorded in relation to this framework in their own personal development file. Files are accessible for parents to look at/contribute to at any time.

Staffing

Our baby room staff have been specifically chosen for their experience, knowledge and sensitivity in their approach to caring for babies. Please refer to "Abacus Staff" in "About Us".

The individual needs of each baby are continually assessed and staff provide appropriate care and experiences to aid their development.

The staff ratio in our baby rooms is 1 member of staff to 3 babies. Often, this is increased.
